This course examines the convergence of political, economic, and cultural struggles that shaped post-1960s America. Possible topics include memory and nostalgia, U.S. as a world power, civil rights, equal opportunity, health care, welfare, conservatism, liberalism, gender, race, immigration, labor unions, austerity, neoliberalism, and globalization. Class may be taken twice under different instructors. Semester(s) Offered: Offered as needed.
