Catalog description

This course examines various thematic, geographical, and historiographical topics in the history of the Cold War. Topics might include the origins and evolution of the conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union, the Cold War in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, containment, détente, espionage, the nuclear arms race, and the collapse of the Soviet Union. This course is repeatable for up to six credit hours under different topics. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
