Catalog description

The interrelationship of weather elements and controls and the spatial distributions of climate and vegetation. Students will become familiar with the basic concepts and processes associated with weather (atmospheric and oceanic circulation, temperature, moisture, pressure, winds, weather systems), as well as become familiar with climate types, climate variability and the impact of human activity on weather and climate found throughout the world today.
