Catalog description
A grade of ‘C’ or better in ECON 201 and ECON 202 , or a grade of ‘C’ or better in ECON 101 ; a grade of ‘C’ or better in CBAD 363 or FIN 301 An international study of real estate from a commercial and investment perspective. The international nature of the course requires attention to topics including global ethics, cultural diversity, legal, and economic aspects as they vary across the globe and impact real estate. Theoretical grounding in urban and institutional economics motivates the study. Fundamental methods of financial valuation of real estate are explored and analyzed with an international backdrop.
