This course introduces students to the art and craft of filmmaking while exploring film as a cultural and historical form of human expression. Students learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling and apply these skills by creating short films on a selected theme. Alongside hands-on practice, the course examines key moments in film history and critical approaches in film studies, encouraging students to connect their creative work to broader humanistic questions.
