It provides an overview of the historical and philosophical background of gifted education, as well as its rationale. Topics of this course include characteristics, needs, problems, and developmental patterns of Gifted and Talented students. The implication of legislation on the means of student identification and instruction are discussed. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring
