Methods for Teaching Mathematics at the Middle and Secondary Levels

The student is expected to plan and implement specific lessons utilizing various resources and techniques. Standards-based instructional planning, integration of concepts, developmentally appropriate instructional strategies, appropriate assessment techniques, and implementation of planned instructional units are addressed. A clinical field experience at a middle school or secondary school site is required and included in this course. Semester(s) Offered: Fall
