This course emphasizes the application of models of instructional design to create learning or performance solutions for education and training settings. The course explores e-learning theory as a foundation for designing and developing effective instructional/training materials that reflect careful consideration of ethical, logical, historic, and cultural dimensions, and promote humanistic thought and expression in various modalities. This course focuses on instructional systems design knowledge to engage innovative thinking, active learning, interaction, participation, and collaboration in teaching and learning.
