A grade of ‘C’ or better in CSCI 220, MATH 174, and MATH 160 This course introduces the theoretical foundations and methodologies of digital image processing and analysis. Topics include intensity transformations, contrast enhancement, filtering in the spatial and frequency domains, restoration and reconstruction, edge detection, feature extraction, morphological operations, image segmentation, object recognition, and color image processing.
