Catalog description
Provides professional experience and instruction while working with a sport-specific media or communication organization. Topics vary by internship but may include professional planning, best practices, and evaluation of organizations. Students gain professional knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities with professionals in their field. Requires 40 hours of on-site work for each 1 credit (up to 240 hours of on-site work for 6 credits), as well as a journal and a final paper. May be repeated for up to 9 total internship credits. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
