Corequisite(s): ASTR 101L An introduction to contemporary astronomy that explores our current understanding of the Cosmos and the unique methods employed to study astronomical objects. Topics include history of astronomy, observed motions of celestial objects, the solar system, stellar evolution, galaxies, and cosmology.
