Primates, People and Prehistory Laboratory

Catalog description

Corequisite(s): ANTH 101 Through laboratory exercises, students will explore human biology and culture over a period of several million years. Students will question the nature of science, the use and analysis of scientific evidence, and how biocultural evolution worked in the past and how it works today. Focusing on the “how” aspect of these questions, students draw on scientific processes and knowledge to learn about what we are and how we came to be.
