1 section
Catalog description
This course introduces students to intersections between people and the world around them. We explore the ways in which the environment shapes human cultures, how cultures adapt and change the environment, and the feedback loops that are created in an anthropogenic landscape. We use case studies to illustrate these theories and discuss how our perspectives inform our understanding and interpretation of environments and human cultures, both past and present. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
