GEOL 001 is an introduction to the physical and chemical forces active on the earth, including a survey of minerals, rocks, vulcanism, geomorphology, and structural geology. also covered are the agents of weathering, erosion, earthquakes, the earth's interior, glaciation, oceans, rock mobility, metamorphism, sedimentation and the formation of economic mineral deposits.
