Prerequisite: Current New Mexico AEMT licensure; Admissions into the Paramedic Program and corequisite enrollment in EMSS 2250 EMSS 2310, EMSS 2202, EMSS 2255, EMSS 2245, EMSS 2850, and EMSS 2890. Course must be taken for credit. The course covers pathophysiology, assessment, and management of common medical emergencies in the areas of pulmonology, neurology, and cardiology.
