Prerequisite: Current New Mexico AEMT licensure; Admissions into the Paramedic Program and corequisite enrollment in EMSS 2245, EMSS 2310, EMSS 2202, EMSS 2255, EMSS 2515, EMSS 2850, and EMSS 2890. Course must be taken for credit. A course which introduces the concepts of advanced patient assessment and clinical decision making, including history taking, physical exam techniques, and therapeutic commu - nication with patients.
