Catalog description

This course focuses on global urbanization using a human-centered perspective. Students will be introduced to global cities in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East through an examination of history, architecture, the public realm, literature, and mass media. The course’s comparative and multidisciplinary approaches help students understand global cities from a humanistic perspective.
