Survey of non-Western theater forms, exploring the classic theater of India, Japan, China, and Indonesia. The course will include lectures on and films of Kabuki, Chinese Opera and other Asian productions, as well as hands-on experience with Indian, Indonesian, Japanese and Chinese puppets.
