Catalog description

Pre-requisite: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement, junior standing or permission of the instructor. Detailed study of seven major plays which have been adapted into major films; study of differences in stage and film presentations with emphasis on structure, acting styles, and directing techniques. Analysis of the plays will be conducted through weekly writings and a synopsis paper.
