Catalog description

Pre-requisite THE 301 Lighting Design I. This course will build on skills and knowledge developed in Lighting Design I, offering a deeper understanding of the science and properties of light. Major course areas will cover lighting topics spanning physics, biology, psychology, technology, artistic composition, and storytelling. At the end of the course students will be able to effectively demonstrate the production process of a lighting designer, be able to articulate their artistic vision and ideas for a project, and effectively execute a creative lighting design for the stage.
