Principles of Acting

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Theatre Major or Minor or by permission. An introduction to the basic skills of acting, the discipline of acting, and the individual creative process. This course utilizes basic acting exercises, scene work, analysis, exploration of the actor’s tools, study of the actor’s profession, rudimentary stage and camera work, and performance evaluation.
