Prerequisites: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement, SPN 302 & 373, or permission of instructor. This class surveys fantastic literature (or “literature of the fantastic”) from Spain and Latin America and discusses the various meaning of the genre in a variety of social, political, and historical contexts.
