Catalog description
Prerequisites: PRM 344 and PRM 367. Within an independent study course, the student works closely with a faculty member to explore a key principle, practice, and/or challenge within the property management discipline. Students may be asked to engage in self-directed learning, case studies, guest interviews, field work, and applied projects based on a topic decided upon with their faculty advisor. Potential topics might include leases, maintenance, tenant relations, financial reporting, legal & regulatory environment, marketing, risk management, sustainability, and emerging issues in property management.
