Coaching Practicum

Catalog description

The Coaching Practicum course brings closure to the accrued knowledge and skills relating to all aspects of coaching youth, adolescent and young adult sports. Students will examine their roles as colleagues, reflective practitioners, coaches and advocates of sport coaching. They will develop techniques for effective communication with a variety of audiences relevant to their career choice (e.g., coaching staff, athletic directors, school/club administration, parents and other professionals and apply them during a comprehensive coaching practicum experience.
