Prerequisite: OSM 311 or permission of the instructor. Examines classic and current issues in operations management using case studies. Provides extensive usage of Excel Software in decision making. Case study topics include supply chain management, e-commerce, JIT, enterprise resource planning, service operations management, customer service, purchasing, quality control, human resource management, and strategy.
