Chronic Disease Management & Care Coordination Across the Lifespan (Simulation)

Catalog description

Prerequisite: TBSN: NUR 352; ABSN: None; OABSN not eligible to take the course. This simulation course focuses on communication and care coordination for managing chronic disease and providing palliative care. Students will engage in four high-impact simulation experiences. Emphasis is placed on interprofessional collaboration, care coordination, use data to create a person-centered interprofessional plan of care sensitive cultural background. A reflective journal assignment will reinforce learning and application of concepts.
