Precepted Immersion with Evidence-Based Practice Project

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Enrolled in the last semester of the program. Corequisite: None. This senior-level course provides students with an intensive clinical immersion experience under the guidance of a preceptor. Students will integrate theoretical knowledge into practice while completing 120 hours in a healthcare organization and 30 hours of EBP project. By the end of this course, the student will be able to synthesize current evidence, clinical expertise, and patient preferences to develop a comprehensive, ethically sound, and feasible evidence-based practice project proposal that addresses a significant clinical problem and aligns with quality improvement and patient safety standards.
