Catalog description

Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing program or permission of instructor. Corequisite: NUR 400. This practicum provides students with hands-on experience in community and ambulatory settings to promote population health and wellness. Students will participate in health screenings, chronic disease prevention activities, and culturally responsive care initiatives. Emphasis is placed on interprofessional collaboration, ethical decision-making, and application of population health principles.
