Prerequisites: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement. COM 303, PSY 311, SOC 354, STA 145 or MTH/STA 147; students must be admitted to the Nursing Program. Introduces the research and EBP processes in healthcare. Explores the contribution of research to the improvement of nursing practice. Focuses on critical analysis and interpretation of research reports for development of strategies to solve clinical problems using evidence based practice techniques.
