Catalog description

Prerequisite: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement. Students must be admitted to the Nursing Program. (Open to RN students only.) Focuses on leadership and management theories and concepts as they relate to the practice of nursing and the delivery of care in a variety of community-based settings. Emphasizes the use of change theory and quality assurance concepts. Approaches to developing leader/change agent and consultant/collaborator roles are explored.
