Catalog description

Prerequisites: Admission to the nursing program or permission of the instructor, and TBSN/ABSN/OABSN: NUR 260. Corequisites: TBSN/ABSN: NUR 332; OABSN: None. This course builds on Pathophysiology and Pharmacology I and aligns with Adult & Family Health Nursing didactic and clinical courses. Students will explore advanced pathophysiological mechanisms and pharmacologic interventions for complex health conditions, including endocrine, metabolic, gastrointestinal, and sensory disorders. Emphasis is placed on integrating pharmacology with nursing care plans, promoting safe medication administration, and applying clinical judgment in family-centered care contexts.
