Catalog description

Prerequisites: Admission to the nursing program or permission of instructor. Corequisites: TBSN/ABSN: NUR 230. This course introduces students to essential clinical nursing skills required for safe, effective, and evidence-based care. Students will learn and practice foundational psychomotor skills in a simulated lab environment, emphasizing patient safety, infection control, communication, and documentation. The course integrates case-based learning and interprofessional collaboration to prepare students for clinical decision-making in diverse healthcare settings.
