Catalog description

Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Introduction to creating music with the use of computers using Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software. Topics include acoustics, recording, mixing, and editing midi and audio. Projects will be focused on professional applications in a variety of practical and creative contexts. Students will have dedicated lab time in the School of Music’s computer music studio.
