Catalog description

Prerequisites: Music Therapy and Music Education majors only. Music therapy majors must have successfully completed MUS/MTX 290 or MTX 190, MUS/MTX 291, and MUS/MTX 391. In this course, students will learn about clinical practice and education as it relates to working with clients and students diagnosed with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, sensory impairments, physical challenges, and learning disabilities. Music therapy majors must complete this course with at least a “B-” for this course to count towards the music therapy bachelor’s degree.
