Catalog description
Prerequisites: None. This course is delivered online in an asynchronous format. In this course, students will gain a foundational understanding of the neuroscience of music. Topics include music and molecules, music processing, sound processing, moving with music, music training and cognition, and neuroplasticity and music. Music therapy majors must earn at least a “B-” for this course to be counted towards the music therapy undergraduate degree (or its post-bac equivalent).
