Pre-Internship Seminar

Catalog description

Prerequisites: Music therapy major; successful completion of MTX 391 (first iteration). In this course, students will learn about the music therapy internship process, from starting the search for an internship to successfully finishing an internship. This course must be repeated at least 3 times in consecutive semesters and be taken concurrently with MTX 391 (second iteration) and MTX 393 (both iterations). This course must be successfully completed with an “S” (Satisfactory) grade each iteration to count towards the music therapy undergraduate degree (or its post-bac equivalent).
