Therapeutic Musicianship Lab IV

Catalog description

Prerequisites: Pre-Music Therapy Major. MTX 170, MTX 171, MTX 172. Co-requisites: MTX 283. In this lab course, students will gain advanced functional musicianship skills in piano. Competencies addressed include practical application of functional piano skills for music therapists. Music therapy majors must earn at least a “B-” for this course to be counted towards the music therapy bachelor’s degree (or its post-bac equivalent).
