Therapeutic Musicianship Lab II

Catalog description

Prerequisites: Pre-Music Therapy Major and MTX 170. Co-requisites: MTX 181 and MTX 281. In this lab course, students will gain functional musicianship skills in voice that are appropriate for music therapists. Competencies addressed include healthy singing techniques for music therapy settings. Music therapy majors must earn at least a “B-” for this course to be counted towards the music therapy bachelor’s degree (or its post-bac equivalent).
