Therapeutic Musicianship Lab I

Catalog description

Prerequisites: Pre-Music Therapy Major. Co-requisites: MTX 180 and MTX 280. In this lab course, students will gain functional musicianship skills in voice that are appropriate for music therapists. Competencies addressed include healthy singing techniques for music therapy settings. Music therapy majors must earn at least a “B-” for this course to be counted towards the music therapy bachelor’s degree (or its post-bac equivalent).
