Catalog description

Prerequisites: Music therapy major or permission of instructor. In this course, students will learn functional structured and improvisatory music and movement skills for use within therapeutic settings. Students will also learn how to use basic structured and improvisatory music and movement for expressive, therapeutic purposes. Music therapy majors must earn at least a “B-” for this course to be counted towards the music therapy bachelor’s degree.
