Catalog description

Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in MTH 281 or MTH 283, and a grade of “C” or better in at least one mathematics course numbered 300 or above. This course is a rigorous introduction to set-theoretic topology. Topics covered include metric spaces, topological spaces, continuous mappings, connectedness and compactness.
