Catalog description

Prerequisites: MTH 149 or MTT 169 or MTH 181, and MET 202 or ESC 202. Displacement, velocity and acceleration of particles and rigid bodies with combined translation and rotation. Reaction and inertia forces and mass and polar moments of inertia. Analysis by equations of motion, force-acceleration, work-energy, and impulse-momentum. Conservative and non-conservative forces and moments. Free and forced vibrations, natural frequency, and fundamentals of damping and vibration isolation.
