Pre-requisites: Matlab (ESC152), differential equations (ESC250) and physics (PHY242). Electric circuit modeling with differential equations and Laplace methods. Analytical techniques and computer-based numerical simulations. Circuits with diodes and operational amplifiers. Transformers. Introduction to DC motors and their selection. Contemporary topics on electric storage, electric mobility and smart grid.
