As members of the CSU community, first-year students embark on a journey to understand their vital role in fostering personal, familial, and community health. This course introduces students to the foundational principles of health and well-being, emphasizing current health choices’ direct impact on overall health and academic success. By exploring major health topics, students gain insight into maintaining physical, mental, and social health, which is essential for thriving in academic and personal endeavors. This course empowers students to take responsibility for their health but also equips them to contribute positively to the health of their families and the broader CSU community. Students focus on social engagement by connecting them with student organizations and community activities. This course focuses on a strong connection to health and wellness that introduced them to relevant campus resources.
