The City, The Suburbs, and The Simpsons is a three-credit Inquiry Launch course designed with two goals in mind. The first is to facilitate new students’ transition to Cleveland State University. The second is to explore the characteristics of, and interactions between, cities and their suburbs, and how they are depicted in the animated TV show The Simpsons. Students will learn and employ essential academic and practical skills while fostering a deeper understanding of several critical aspects of metropolitan regions.
