Urban Health III

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Successful completion of HSC 461. This seminar course extends work covered in Urban Health I and II, providing more in-depth study of key urban health issues, introducing students to the principles of community-based participatory research, connecting them with the community organizations with whom they will work to implement a research project relevant to urban primary care, and mentoring them through the proposal and Institutional Review Board phases of their projects.
