Health Coaching and Disease Prevention

Catalog description

Pre-requisites: Completion of HED 414/HSC 414, a minimum overall GPA of 2.75 and enrollment in the Health and Wellness Coaching certificate. This course is designed to assist students interested in the health professions and any aspect of health promotion to examine the role and function of Health coaching and disease prevention from a physiological, psychological and sociological perspective. Personal, situational and environmental influences are explored and discussed.
