Catalog description

This course offers an interdisciplinary introduction to the field of gerontology, the study of aging and the challenges and opportunities faced by older adults. Students will explore the biological, psychological, and social aspects of aging, as well as the societal impact of an aging population. The course also addresses the social constructs and stereotypes of aging, and introduces students to the careers and practices within the field of gerontology.
