Prerequisite: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement. This digital humanities seminar is designed to introduce students to the range of scholarship on gender and power relationships in history and related fields such as library science, archive management, and museum studies. Discussions are arranged by topic and represent major historiographical trends in gender studies and critical developments in the organization of knowledge. Students will engage in bi-weekly seminar discussions as well as produce written and digital products using historical thinking and archival research. Specific topics and periodization to be determined by the instructor.
