Catalog description

Prereq: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement. This online course provides an introduction to the art and architecture of the ancient Greek world, from the Bronze Age through to the Hellenistic period of Greece (c. 300 -31 BC). It examines architecture, sculpture, pottery, and painting as archaeological artifacts which can help us to understand the history and society of the ancient Greeks.
